Andy Williams is VP Business Development and Quality Assurance for Safehotels, an international hotel security certification company based in Sweden. Andy has over 20 successful years of international safety, security and crisis management expertise in the hotel industry, previously working with major hotel companies at corporate and operational level such as Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Whitbread and Forte. Andy is a qualified CPP Certified Protection Professional Level and certified in Strategic Leadership in the security industry through Georgetown University. On the Association and volunteer leadership front, he is a member of ASIS International, has presented at United Nations and EU Council and advised the UK government on public safety initiatives. Most recently Andy produced a case study paper on crisis management for United Nations UNISDR.
