2017 WEC Scholarship Recipient
I read your May News earlier today and wanted to send you a brief note thanking the MPI Foundation for the scholarship I received to attend my first ever WEC in Las Vegas in 2017.
The experience is one that I will never forget! I became enamored with MPI for a whole new reason. The caliber of that event, for me, was spectacular. Some of my most memorable experiences were the:
- Array of education offerings
- Incredible entertainment
- Exciting offsite experiences, including the Big Deal (I went to the last table, believe it or not)
- Rendezvous
- Delicious meals
- Meeting like-minded individuals from all over the globe
- And so much more…
This was the first 2,000+ person event that I attended, and I was in awe the entire time. One of the elements that I clearly remember was the vast number of dedicated volunteers who helped us navigate the enormous and unforgettable venues, and who made us feel like we were something special along the way.
I will never forget my first WEC (the two others I’ve attended since, have also been incredible), but you know what they say… you never forget your first! My first WEC was only made possible because of the MPI Foundation.
