MAJOR GRANTS FOR INDUSTRY CAUSES

The MPI Foundation builds partnerships to inspire idea exchanges and to develop professional tools and research that enrich our industry.

 

Major grants may be awarded to any program that furthers its mission and is offered by either an organization which is described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or (2) an organization which is not described in this section but uses such funding and financial support for the MPI Foundation’s mission.

Grants over $5,000 USD are awarded by the MPI Foundation Global Board of Trustees.

 

For the grant request to be considered and presented before the Global Board of Trustees, completed requests must be submitted no later than 21 days prior to an upcoming meeting. The board meets 6-8 times a year. The request will be presented to the board by the Executive Director of the Foundation, or other supporting Global Board of Trustees member, if applicable. 

You will receive notification from the MPI Foundation regarding the status of your application and the timeline for the review of your application within 90 days of your submission.

During the application process, you will be asked to provide the following information:

• Purpose of grant 

• Expected outcomes of grant 

• Persons or communities served by grant 

• Requesting organization’s determination letter from the IRS stating tax-exempt status (or equivalent document based on applicable non-U.S. law)

• Requesting organization's most recently filed Form 990 (or equivalent annual filing based on the applicable country-specific requirements)
